If I take over the world, fillers will be outlawed.

This is a blog, not a friggin' spelling bee, latte. (Oh, and I think there's one c. As in cappucinno.)

Oh, and I generally post lengthy posts. Because when I blog, that means I have a lot to say.

So anyways, on with the fillers. Yup. If I take over the world, fillers will be outlawed.

For those of you that aren't into anime nor an expert in the terminology, a "filler" episode in an anime is an episode that has nothing to do with the series (aka it's not based off the manga) meant to broaden the time gap between the anime and the manga, because if the anime catches up with the manga, that means that soon there won't be much material that the anime can be based off of, so the anime would either a: have to go on hiatus until there's more material, or b: just stop making the anime, because an episode of anime not only covers several manga chapters usually, but it also takes much longer to make than probably a whole volume of manga.

And I hate them. I absolutely hate them with every fibre in my heart. (Well not entirely, I can TOLERATE some. More so if I'm in a good mood, or just plain bored. Because watching a filler is not quite as bad as watching King of the Hill. Which is actually one of those shows where it's so pointless that it gets interesting and you can't turn it off.)

Anyways, back on topic. I don't like them. Especially in dubs.

(Dubs- the english version of an anime. They take out the Japanese audio and replace it with English voice acting. That's why the mouths don't match, and the voice acting usually sucks. In most anime stuff is cut out, too.

Subs- the Japanese version of an anime, but with English subtitles. Usually done by "fansubbers" as in fans of an anime that translate the show and add in the english subtitles. It's uncut, free, and is of better quality, especially if you download instead of watch on a site like youtube.)

Because in dubs, you not only have to put up with bad voice acting, you have to put up with something that doesn't have to do with the actual plot.

What I'm REALLY annoyed about though, is that after having to endure more fillers in part one of Naruto, (I wouldn't be surprised if there was more fillers than actual episodes.) I heard that in part 2 (Naruto Shippuden) there's going to be five weeks of fillers. Yes, 5 episodes is not as bad as 100+, but still, I don't like it. (I like Naruto Shippuden (especially the soundtrack, I bought it :) ) better, so I'll give these a chance, but I still really, really don't like it. (The fillers, not the anime. I LOVE the anime.))

On top of 5 weeks of fillers, there also won't be a new Naruto chapter this week (I am still trying to find out why), and at a major cliffhanger nonetheless. Grr. Jeez, after having the second conspiritor, Uchiha Madara, say that Itachi really wanted to protect Sasuke, Konoha, and the world, I want to know the whole story! :(

One reason why I am disappointed at the fillers is because I want the Sasuke vs. Itachi arc into an anime already. I read all the chapters (Probably the ONLY reason why I'm caught up with the manga, along with the Second Sasuke Retrieval arc in the anime right now), but I think it'll be good in the anime because after waiting almost FIFTEEN godforsaken weeks (this was probably the longest battle ever. Period.) for someone to die, I would much rather have it happen in more or less 3-5 weeks (with the assumption that an anime episode will cover an average of 3-5 chapters) in a fast-paced action anime with a killer soundtrack. :) (I really, REALLY love the Shippuden soundtrack.)

Yeah. We probably wouldn't NEED the fillers if they'd just have done the Kakashi Gaiden arc (a manga-only arc) in the anime. Come on, it'd be good and only take a few episodes. (So it'd at least be a shortened filler arc.)

So to kill time (or atleast maintain borderline sanity), not only because of this, but because I have too much free time in general, I have decided (Or had decided, I've been doing this for the past week so far) I am going to reread the entire Naruto series, one volume a day, up to the latest Naruto volume. (As in I am reading 1-28, 29 is coming out next month I believe.) I am already on volume 7. Not only is this to maintain basic sanity and kill time, but to wait for the latest Naruto volume, even though there is less than 27 days until it comes out. But, I CAN read more than 1 volume a day.

...Yup. That's all for now.

P.S. This post was done at home. (Because why would I be at school at 1:48 in the morning on a Sunday?) (As in at 11 PM, it was Saturday, but now, at 1:48 AM, it's Sunday.)

P.S.S. Frappucino, you DID use a lot of exclamation points. Do you have a megaphone or something?
